Marriages in Conflict
Every marriage has its share of joy and sorrow. That's part of the nature of this most intense of all relationships. Conflict in a marriage is as much a part of the relationship as are the wonderfully loving times.
It's when conflict occupies most of the relationship's time that we know things are not right. The problems usually don't go away by themselves, as much as we hope they will. Often, they just get nastier, draining us of good feelings towards each other.
Closing your eyes to a troubled marriage is the best way to continue the pain. Going for some help to get a perspective, to break the cycle of nastiness, and learn to appreciate each other again can often bring about dramatic change in your marriage.
People mistakenly feel that these are private problems that should not be opened up with a stranger. We're not strangers here. We're here to help.
